World-leading recruitment consultancy Egon Zehnder has been studying diversity across boards of directors and management since 2004. In 2017, we delivered their most advanced analysis to date, highlighting the gender divide with a landmark report, data visualization and social campaign.
The Global Board Diversity Analysis has grown in scope and scale every year since Egon Zehnder introduced it in 2010.
2017 marked the first year the study involved all regions around the world, and began to include data on market sectors. We were tasked to find innovative new ways to highlight the depth of data and encourage its audience to find insights beyond the initial release.
We created a scalable data visualization platform which transformed the raw data into a storytelling vehicle.
The up-front section guides users through the highlights of the GBDA report, offering them deep links into the data, and driving easy consumption and sharing. The Report Builder tool allows the data to be interrogated by region or sector, exposes trends over time and encourages users to download assets to use elsewhere.
Our help more than doubled media coverage, with many journalists extracting data or embedding visualizations to support their own stories.
The experience boosted overall traffic to Egon Zehnder’s website, and increased average time on site by more than 600% during the week of launch.
The Solarwinds IT Trends Index is a yearly report into the state of the industry. Rather than PDFs and PowerPoint documents, we built an interactive tool to let IT pros dig deep into the data and use it as a resource in planning their next move.
Bored of dry tables and charts, SolarWinds tasked us to develop their report into more engaging and interactive reports.
Topics of interest can be drilled down to see more than 3,000 data points and 40 unique insights by region and company size, while visualizations can be adjusted to the users’ requirements. The entire tool is dynamic, and even the images which accompany social shares are generated on the fly. This enables SolarWinds to update the content and expand the report without creating large numbers of supporting assets.
In its first year, the IT Trends Index supported coverage across dozens of publications, generating millions of impressions.
The scope of the project was expanded to include a written report in three languages, and the IT Trends Index is now a regular investment for SolarWinds, with the next version set to include fresh data across seven countries and newly-updated branding.
