Advertisers question ROI on Facebook

Facebook’s dominance in the ad spend space is declining. Brands and agencies are looking to other channels to reach their audiences. Advertisers are more concerned that they are wasting money on Facebook than they are about the platform’s privacy lapses. Admitting it hasn’t always charged the correct amount for ads has probably also had an effect. Have you started to re-think spend on the platform? More here

Digital budgets dedicated to video

According to a study released by IAB, 59% of marketers currently dedicate their digital advertising budgets to video. The study included responses from 353 marketer and agency executives who are “involved in digital video advertising decision-making.”

The study also found that more than half of buyers plan to increase digital and mobile video spending in the next 12 months. Read more here.
