Twitter extends display names

Twitter followed up its expansion to 280 characters last week by upping another character limit. Twitter  announced in a Twitter Support tweet that users’ display names can now run up to 50 characters in length.

Facebook launches Creator app

Facebook announced two new features for content creators who want to develop a following among the social network’s more than two billion users worldwide, according to a blog post.

The Facebook Creator app is a “one-stop shop” where people can shoot and edit videos, broadcast live with custom stickers, graphics and camera effects, view analytics about their Page and engagement levels and easily cross-post content between social platforms.
