New verification for large Facebook Pages
Facebook released its most detailed policy prescriptions to date to combat election meddling in the upcoming U.S. midterms. Large Pages (exact numbers yet to be confirmed) must now verify the identities and locations of the people managing them. Page Managers will need to submit a form of government-issued identification, or lose the ability to post to the page.
Additionally, anyone buying political ads on the platform must also be verified.

360° Photos and HD Videos on Messenger
Facebook has announced improvements to the the Messenger app, including providing new content tools. Users can now add 360° images to Messenger chats, and upload videos in HD.
