Facebook users can now take 360º videos from the Facebook app itself, and upload them instantly for viewing on their Timeline, in albums, or Groups.
- Open the Facebook app and click ‘360 Photo’ from the top of your News Feed (near the update status icon).
- Press the blue button and take your panoramic image.
- Select your preferred starting point for the photo, and share.

Instagram now lets you post photo albums with landscape and portrait pictures. Since the feature was introduced in February, you’ve only been able to post square-format photos — very old-school Instagram. Exactly 10 years ago, before there were smart phones or even a Twitter app, one Twitter user came up with the idea of using the “#” symbol to group tweets together.
