Instagram’s new ‘Paid Partnership’ tags

Instagram is creating a standardised format with tags to show so when influencers are being paid cash money for content creation. Sponsored tags on Instagram are being rolled out slowly – you’ll start to see them appearing in the next few weeks.

Measure Meaningful Moments

One of the most important measurements in social is how engagement relates to business success. But what’s the best way to measure your social media engagement? MRM’s (Meaningful Relationship Moments) were created by Hootsuite to measure “a social media interaction with a customer, prospect, or community member that results in an observable positive change in sentiment or behaviour.” Read more here about measuring and tracking such moments.

Influencer marketing more standardised

Influencer marketing processes are increasingly becoming standardised, with a number of self-service content sharing and promotion tools on the market. Such tools allow advertisers to create lists of influencers, determined by chosen attributes. These influencers are so-called “micro-influencers,” who have smaller followings and theoretically more engagement. The self-serve ad method is closer to a platform-style relationship: Brands only need to choose where to spend their money. Learn more here.

Facebook GIF button for comments
