The Text100 brand transformation: Exciting time for North America

New hires and expanded capabilities are driving change in the era of digital disruption.

New hires and expanded capabilities are driving change in the era of digital disruption.

As you may have seen, our brand has undergone a transformation which has created a lot of excitement here at Text100. But that energy is about more than just a new logo and color change – it’s an evolution that is evident in Text100’s ongoing strategy for the North American market.

By nature, we are risk takers. We embrace change and disruption. Technology is the lifeblood of what we do – as marketers, as business people, as human beings. And curiously, it’s the last of these – our propensity for humanizing technology – that makes us “wired differently.”

The need to leverage technology in communications has heralded a shift in the marketplace. Businesses and their brands need domain expertise. But they increasingly need support from those who understand technology and digital transformation. More and more, we find ourselves working with Fortune 500 brands in financial services, health care, energy and automotive. They make up the fastest growing group of clients at Text100 and are giving us opportunities to do some of our best, most innovative, most valuable work. And we’re eager to do more.

To that end, I am thrilled to announce the hire of Steve Astle as our new Senior Vice President, Highly Regulated Markets, based in our San Francisco office. Steve brings more than 20 years of experience advising clients about technology-enabled disruption. He has worked in-house and as a consultant to global, iconic Fortune 500 businesses that include FICO, PayPal, Visa, Oracle, Genentech, the Edison Electric Institute, the Electric Power Research Institute and many others. In this new role, Steve will help Text100 extend our deep understanding of the dynamics of market disruption to businesses large and small, across industries and across the globe.

The work we do across all of these industries is ultimately about storytelling. Bringing those stories to life means telling them visually. To that end, I’m also proud to announce the recent addition of Barrett Tripp as Vice President of our Content & Social Media (C&SM) team. Barrett brings to Text100 a treasure trove of film and TV expertise, having consulted for major brands, studios, and networks. With a creative mind and a true flair for narrative, Barrett adds great content strategy and leadership to our team. Based in our New York City office, he will work with our C&SM team to develop and expand our video and visual content offerings for our clients throughout North America.

Needless to say, we’re excited about the growth and innovation underlying these changes, and what they mean for our clients. Please contact me or anyone at Text100 with questions, comments and your own perspectives.
