Lexis’ consumer brand expertise bolsters Text100’s marketing communications offering

Text100 is enhancing its consumer credentials by merging Lexis, the well-respected, consumer agency, into Text100.  Lexis has 25 years of incredible, consumer brand experience and has won the trust of respected clients such as Pizza-Hut, Pernod Ricard, Harley-Davidson and many others.  This merger is an important component of Text100’s global vision of delivering the most inspiring work for the world’s most important brands.  Text100 already works with a wide-variety of consumer brands across the globe and the expertise of the Lexis team will firmly cement Text100’s credentials with a broader range of clients.

Tara O’Donnell, MD of Text100 UK, will assume overall responsibility for the combined agency.  Ruth Kieran, former Deputy MD of Lexis, becomes Deputy MD to Tara O’Donnell.  New roles within Text100 UK include: Toby Conlon, Head of Corporate Reputation; Bianca Lee-Chang, Head of Consumer; and, Virginie Luce, Head of Digital Marketing.  They will join the Text100 UK leadership team: Gary Berman (Head of PR), Matt Coombes (Head of Strategy), Tom Edwards (Head of Creative), and Luke Peters (Head of Social and Content).

Dominic Shales, MD of Lexis, has decided that the merger of the agencies provides a good moment to move on, five years after he joined the agency through the acquisition of his own agency, Paratus Communications.

Lexis will become part of Text100 immediately, with the Lexis brand phasing out in September this year.  The new combination of agencies boasts an enviable client base that includes: Vodafone, Pernod Ricard, DHL, Harley Davidson, Avios, SunTrust, Sophos, and more.  With a perfectly compatible service set, there are great opportunities to offer more comprehensive support for existing and new clients and expanded career paths for agency team members.

Over the past two years, Text100 introduced new leadership, acquired and integrated content marketing and branding agencies, moved to new UK offices in Holborn and rolled out a fresh brand to reflect Text100’s strength as a marketing communications agency.
