Another step in the journey
Today, it gives me great pleasure to welcome Kim Sample to Text100 as she takes on the role of New York City General Manager and becomes the newest member of our Executive Leadership Team.
Kim comes to Text100 with an impressive 28-year career in communications. She spent 13 years rising through the ranks at Ketchum, ultimately serving as Associate Director in the New York Office, leading Consumer, Corporate and Media teams. In 2006, Kim and a small team created a new agency named Emanate, which went on to become one of Omnicom’s fastest growing businesses, attracting blue-chip clients like Bank of America, Philips, Celebrity Cruises, and Hilton, among others.
As CEO, Kim developed the agency positioning, led the brand’s growth and created a unique approach to talent, all of which led to Emanate being named PR Week Agency of the Year in 2010 and a Crain’s New York Best Place to Work in 2012. She quickly expanded the business beyond New York to include offices in Los Angeles, London, and Munich.
It’s this global perspective and fearless spirit that makes Kim a natural addition to Text100’s connected culture around the world. Kim’s success building an agency in the NYC market, combined with her deep expertise in B2B, corporate and consumer communications not only complements our existing expertise in New York, but also opens up an entirely new and different industry network to propel strong growth in one of our most important markets.
As Text100 continues to evolve, we are thrilled to have Kim’s leadership not only in the New York City office, but also present in our global endeavors. Her enthusiasm and proven experience make Kim the perfect addition to our growing team.
