Our mission is to do the most inspiring work for the world’s most important brands. A few weeks into the new Financial Year it’s clear that inspiration is alive and well.

As we kick off the Financial Year 2018 across our offices, there are so many exciting things happening at Text100. Our mission is to do the most inspiring work for the world’s most important brands – and just a few weeks into the “New Year,” it’s clear that inspiration is alive and well.

Here’s just one example. I had the opportunity to see that vision in full force at the Boston Leaders & Daughters event hosted by executive search firm, Egon Zehnder, in recognition of International Women’s Day.

It was an incredible evening that not only highlighted the achievements of some truly remarkable women (how about a 26-year-old CEO who left Wall Street to found a healthcare startup that’s improving access to medicine?), but more importantly fostered discussion around the importance of inclusiveness and diversity of thought in today’s businesses.

Hearing CEOs from some of Boston’s biggest companies talk about their dedication to growing their organizations by bringing different experiences to the table gave me hope. And hearing their daughters – who will undoubtedly become the next generation of leaders – talk with passion and poise about their vision for the future made me smile. If that isn’t inspiring work, I don’t know what is.

The work we do with programs like Leaders & Daughters is just one part of what inspires me as a professional woman. We also support Egon Zehnder’s mission to increase diversity among executive boards around the world. As their Global Board Diversity Analysis shows, we still have a long way to go, but we are thrilled to be a part of the inspiring work that goes into reaching that goal.

Being part of an organization that values families, diversity and personal lives and creates a culture of trust in its employees is so important. It’s what gives us the freedom to be our best selves.

But the inspiring work happening across Text100 extends much farther than big events like International Women’s Day – and it’s happening nearly every day. Watching and being part of teams that band together to think creatively and drive amazing results for clients is incredibly impressive and motivating. Hearing the narratives that bring energy to the iconic brands we work with every day is a constant reminder of the need to make our words matter.

Personally, I couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store this year. If the first few weeks are any indication of the year ahead, we’re in for a fun ride.
