- Find the trends: Pure data will only bring you so far – illustrate why the findings matter. How do your findings compare to others’, or previous years? Are there any trends that help tell your story? Find a way to show off these comparisons and trends, otherwise your report will fall flat.
- Show it differently: Data can be manipulated to tell different stories – turn that into a strength for your campaign. Lead your campaign with the story you want to tell, but give readers the ability to find the data points that resonate most to them. Flexible data opens up your campaign and can extend the reach of your story.
- Make it “screen ready”: We live in the age of screens and shareable visuals. Burying data in a text-heavy PDF is not going to excite anyone. Your data should be “screen ready” with interactive visuals that can be easily shared across all channels in your campaign. Show the data in a fun way and your audience will engage with it. Can you really engage a 35-page PDF report? Not so much.
