International public relations (PR) consultancy Text 100 appointed Johan Wetterqvist CEO for its operations in the Nordic countries, it was reported on November 27, 2003.
Wetterqvist has also previously worked as CEO for Text 100's Nordic operations, but shifted to a position as CEO of the company's Swedish subsidiary Text 100 Stockholm. Wetterqvist's current goal as Nordic CEO for Text 100 is to establish offices in Norway and Finland in 2004.
The former CEO of Swedish PR agency Segerfeldt & Partners, Kjell Hjelm, will succeed Wetterqvist as CEO of Text 100 Stockkholm. Segerfeldt & Partners filed for bankruptcy in February 2003. Before Text 100, Hjelm worked as consultant for Swedish PR agency Prime PR.
The changes in Text 100 management will take effect as of January 1, 2004. Wetterqvist expects Text 100 Stockholm's 2003 financial results to be at the same level as in 2002. The company registered a turnover of about 19 mln Swedish crowns ($2.5 mln/2.1 mln euro) and a pre-tax profit of some 3.0 mln crowns ($397,000/333,000 euro) for 2002.
Text 100 Stockholm was set up in 1996 and focuses on the technical and IT markets. The company has 15 employees.
