McGregor new APAC head at Text 100

SYDNEY: After a four-year tenure as Asia-Pacific director at Text 100, Matthew Ravden has resigned his post to relocate to the UK. Ravden will continue to work for Text 100 in the newly created role of director, practices and products, focusing on new global strategic opportunities. Taking his place is former Southeast Asia vice-president Andrew McGregor, who retains his original geographical remit, in addition to now sitting on Text 100's global board and overseeing eight regional offices including Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Taiwan.

McGregor's board-level move was sparked by a restructure in May, which saw Eric Ashman appointed as global New York-based financial director and director Andy West overseeing offices and affiliates in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

McGregor, who joined the consultancy in 1998, earmarked Southeast Asia as "a very mature, stable part" of Text 100's business. At the helm as Australia MD is former senior account director, Jorn Sanda.
