NEW DELHI: Tarun Deo, MD of Text 100 India, has been entrusted with a broader role in the Asia-Pacific region. Deo, who has been involved with Text 100 India for more than five years, has been appointed as vice-president of business development, Asia-Pacific. "Over the next 12 months, my major emphasis would be on selling regional proposition to existing clients in the Asia-Pacific region. For instance, we handle CISCO in India and we would try to strengthen our relationship with the same client for other countries in this region," said Deo. Commenting on his tenure as India MD, he said: "We have progressed very well with our staff strength increasing from 30 member to 60-odd now. Our client base has increased from 10 to 22 as we added the likes of Motorola, CISCO and Gartner. Besides this, we continue to handle Microsoft and Network Associates."
