Text 100 International, one of the largest global tech PR agencies, announced yesterday that it has added three new U.S. clients to its roster. They are Internap, a provider of advanced Internet routing; Sagem Morpho, a provider of biometric solutions and services; and MeridianTelesis, an Internet carrier and co-location provider.
"We think these wins are a tribute to the type of PR we practice," says Aedhmar Hynes, CEO of Text 100 International. "Customers are demanding a depth of knowledge, and the ability to clearly focus on exactly what their business is."
The PR business hasn't been easy during that last year, Hynes notes, "but there's been an energy and passion within the Text 100 organization that's been surprising."
"I feel the tech industry has reached bottom and will be on its way slowly back up," she adds. "People can only restrain their spending for so long."
As Hynes terms it modestly, "We think Text 100 has weathered the storm." One of the few PR agencies to increase its business during 2001, Text 100 recently gained a key portion of IBM's global PR business. In March, the Holmes Report named it Technology PR Agency of the Year.
