Text 100 Group, the leading PR consultancy in the European technology sector, is today announcing the launch of a new business unit to serve the European Digital TV industry.
With an initial focus on the Benelux region, the Text 100 Digital TV Business Unit will operate seamlessly with Text 100's regional subsidiaries across Europe and internationally. The new business unit forms part of Text 100's long term strategy to respond to the technology industry's increasing requirement for specialist PR expertise. This will involve the provision of services to particular market sectors, geographic areas or in specific PR skills.
The Text 100 Digital TV Business Unit will provide PR services designed to support the communications needs of organisations in this emergent sector. PR services will include media relations, strategic communications consultancy and PR support for corporate and product launches, events and roll out campaigns. The unit launches with a number of clients already in its portfolio including Imedia Corporation and the Info DigiTaal consortium.
The unit is being headed up by a newly appointed Text 100 Associate Director, Judith Huisman, who has joined from Canal Plus, previously known as MultiChoice, part of the NetHold Group. Judith held the position of PR Director at Canal Plus with responsibility for the communications strategy and policies of the pay- TV/programme provider. The new unit will consult for product and service-related businesses in this emergent market, including programme/content providers, satellite organisations, cable companies, wire companies, channels, and hardware and software suppliers.
