Text 100 Group plc has continued its expansion into Europe with the opening of its new office in Madrid. Text 100 S.L. is the company's ninth wholly owned subsidiary, and its sixth office in Europe. Text 100 S.L. is already working with companies such as Globalink, Rank Xerox, Scientific Atlanta and Datapro. The new office will be headed up by Suzanne Smith, formerly of Text 100 London.
"The information technology sector in Spain grew by 13% last year, with the telecommunications sector achieving growth rates of almost double that ," said Suzanne Smith. "The Spanish press are also very sophisticated, with over 40 titles covering technology issues. We will be combining Text 100's European experience with the first hand knowledge of our local staff to provide a highly effective PR service."
