NEW YORK, March 20, 2006 Text 100 Public Relations, the leading global technology public relations firm, has been named 2005 Technology Public Relations Agency of the Year by The Holmes Report, one of the most influential publications covering the public relations industry.
The Holmes Report recognizes several specialist agencies each year. The honor is awarded on the basis of the agency's PR Agency Report Card submission, which details the state of participating firms' businesses, recent client wins, competitive differentiators and revenues.
In addition, The Holmes Report examined responses to its employer's workplace survey, which queries agency employees on various aspects of the company culture, including trust and loyalty in management, compensation, client service, and opportunity for growth.
The Holmes Report recognized Text 100 as having one of the best workplaces in the industry and noted how Text 100 successfully uses its statement of values to underscore the importance of people policies. The agency's values emphasize respect for the individual and liberating employees' potential and are the foundation of the company's PRotocol University professional development program.
"This award recognizes two of the qualities Text 100 values most: the work we do for our clients and the working environment we provide for our staff," said Aedhmar Hynes, CEO, Text 100. "Receiving this accolade underlines the enviable position of strength Text 100 has established in the technology industry. Best of all, it recognizes the talent of our people and the superb work they produce for clients every day."
Today's news follows the recent announcement that Text 100 placed fourth among midsize public relations agencies in The Holmes Report Best Public Relations Agencies to Work For survey. The report states that Text 100 employees were most likely among those at midsize agencies to say that they planned to build their career with this agency, and gave their firm the highest marks when asked if people treated each other with respect regardless of title. Employees also gave the firm top marks when asked if the work was intellectually stimulating.
Text 100 is ranked second among technology PR specialist firms in terms of U.S. revenues and in the top 10 among all firms reporting fee income to PRWeek.
