Tom Reno Selected to Lead Region and Global Corporate Communications Practice
New York, NY, August 2, 2006 — Text 100 Public Relations, a leading global technology public relations firm, today announced the appointment of Tom Reno as president, North America. Reno, a veteran of the communications industry, will assume leadership of all of Text 100's North American operations, in addition to its global corporate communications practice.
Reno was most recently executive vice president at Hill & Knowlton and general manager of the firm's flagship New York office. He is a senior corporate counselor and brings to Text 100 extensive experience in reputation management, crisis communications and financial communications.

In his distinguished career, Reno has counseled many of the technology industry's most prestigious technology brands including HP, Dell, Intel, MCI, Verizon, Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young Consulting, Deloitte Consulting, Siemens and Sapient.
Prior to his time at Hill & Knowlton, Reno had roles of increasing responsibility with Citigate Communications, Makovsky & Co. and GCI Group. At GCI Group, he served as President of the New York office and North American Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, the New York office rapidly ascended into one of the market's largest firms.

Reno also studied at the London School of Economics and the New York Institute for Finance and is a member of the Council of PR Firms Management Committee and the National Investor Relations Institute.
