LONDON - 20th May 2003—Text 100 International Ltd., one of the largest global technology public relations consultancies, has appointed Cathy Pittham as Managing Director, UK & Ireland. Cathy will take up the post in August, reporting to Andy West, Text 100's EMEA Managing Director.
"Cathy's appointment is a landmark in Text 100's 22-year history in the UK as it's the first time we have gone external for the UK MD position," said Andy West, Text 100's EMEA Managing Director. Cathy, formerly MD of Weber Europe and Miller Shandwick, has been working with Firefly for the last nine months. During this time, she has helped the board of directors to restructure the agency, reviewed its strategic consulting offer and packaged a new portfolio of client services in addition to managing a portfolio of clients.
She leaves Firefly under an amicable agreement, following the conclusion of her interim management responsibilities, to take up her new role.
