James Hardy - Company Secretary

James Hardy, legal counsel for Text 100, is responsible for global legal strategy and its execution throughout Text 100. James originally joined Text 100 in 1999 in order to assist with the flotation of Text 100's parent company, Next Fifteen Communications, onto the London Stock Exchange. After the successful completion, he transferred to San Francisco to support Text 100, arriving in the U.S. in November 2000.

Prior to joining Text 100, James worked in London as a corporate lawyer with London firm Travers Smith Braithwaite. Corporate law marked a departure from his early career, which was spent as a commercial litigator with London firm Mishcon de Reya.

James graduated from King's College, London University with a bachelor's degree in Western philosophy. He was awarded his law diploma by the Law Society's College of Law, London.
