Text100 Heads to Hollywood…Digital Style

Leveraging Facebook as a product & platform at Digital Hollywood

Posted on 17 October 2012

People are constantly on the go, and the way they communicate with brands they like (and dislike) is drastically changing. The days of calling a 1-800 number or manually filling out a customer feedback form at the store are increasingly becoming obsolete. People are much more likely to post a complaint on Facebook about a negative experience, and there have been countless times I’ve seen people Tweet about an amazing customer experience to their followers.

Whether you’re a B2C or B2B brand, the number of touch points with customers has increased dramatically. Brands need to ensure that customer interaction only gets better with this shift, and monitoring and responding to these platforms is essential. This is a challenge, but the benefit can be immense – instant interaction with customers, insight into what they want and their changing needs, as well as an opportunity to build buzz, a community, and most importantly, brand advocates.

At Digital Hollywood, a high caliber group of panelists will discuss exactly this. On Thursday, October 18, Text100’s Allison Grenewetzki will moderate a discussion centered on “The Facebook Factor – A Discussion of Facebook and other Social Media Platforms as a Product and Communications Platform.” Topics will vary from social advertising, best practices for engagement, which platform(s) are best and the importance of measurement when it comes to social. The following panelists will participate in the discussion:

We encourage you to share any questions you’d like posted to this group of panelists. Otherwise, stay tuned for a recap following the event!
