Andrew McGregor
Chief Operating Officer
Andrew McGregor joined the company in 1998. Since then he has held a number of roles worldwide, including general manager of Text 100’s Sydney office for several years and regional director for Text 100’s Asia Pacific network. Andrew relocated to London in December 2005 as regional director for the agency’s EMEA network. In late-2007 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, still based in the UK.
Originally a technology industry analyst, Andrew is respected by clients and colleagues alike for his pragmatic approach to any challenge or opportunity. He is also known for his ability to navigate the cultural nuances of diverse world markets. He has used this skill with great impact, delivering highly successful PR programs for companies such as IBM, Apple Computer, Seagate and BEA Systems.
In more recent years, the business community has called upon Andrew to deliver counsel on cross-cultural challenges, including work with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australia China Business Council. Clients also turn to him when media training senior executives, or developing their social media skills. To date, he has delivered more than 100 tailored training programs in London, Amsterdam, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Management Studies degree (BMS) with honors from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. He majored in international marketing, including sub-majors in international politics and Japanese language and culture.
