IBM: Reflection and celebration
We’re thrilled to welcome two talented new minds to Text100 as regional Creative Directors: Lee Devine joins Text100 APAC, and Adam Selwyn joins Text100 North America.
Both Lee and Adam have impressive backgrounds in diverse disciplines, complimenting Text100’s purpose of doing inspiring work for the world’s most important brands. The next step in realizing this purpose is the expansion of Text100’s Creative Hubs; facilities created to deliver cutting-edge design, development, film and production services to our clients in each region.
Based in Singapore, Lee will be responsible for the creative output of Text100’s ten APAC offices, and leading the region’s Creative Hub. He brings years of experience as a Creative Director at APV in Hong Kong and extensive work in film direction and production, copy-writing and art direction.
Text100 APAC Regional Director Lee Nugent said: “We’re delighted to have Lee Devine join the team. He has a fantastic track record in delivering work that wows clients and colleagues alike, coupled with his innate understanding of how the role of a creative lead needs to foster a culture of creative democracy. Lee’s appointment is a key step towards meeting our agency goal of delivering inspiring work to clients time and again.”
“I’m proud to join the exceptionally talented teams here in Asia Pacific,” Lee Devine commented. “Digital platforms have democratized the way we consume and share content. For our clients, it’s no longer about brands that shout loudest – it’s about the brand that listens hardest; the brand that spends less time talking about itself and more time talking about the things that matter. Through our creative capabilities that’s what we are here to help our clients do.”
Similarly, Adam Selwyn comes to Text100’s New York office to shape the region’s Creative Hub and build a creative culture across our four US offices. Adam joins us with extensive background in consumer PR; having spent years leading accounts including Wrigley, Tylenol, Pepsi, and Kraft while at Golin and Olson Engage.
“Adam will bring great cross-disciplinary insight and a creative mind full of energy and fresh thinking to our clients and our teams,” said Ken Peters, Regional Director for Text100 North America. “The role of creative is changing and becoming integrated into every campaign. Adam’s leadership will play an important role in helping us to live up to our vision.”
Adam commented: “I’m excited to be here, helping us redefine the idea of not just what’s expected, but what’s possible from an agency.”
From the various times I’ve crossed paths with Adam throughout our careers, to working with Lee at Incredibull (a creative agency acquired by Text100 in 2015), I can attest to the bold approaches these two bring to client challenges. I am looking forward to working with them both in partnership with our EMEA Creative Hub Director, Tom Edwards.
Welcome, Lee and Adam. Here’s to creating inspiring work together.
