TEXT100 is made up of innovators, storytellers, creatives, disrupters, and learners – it helps us do great work and makes our offices great places to work.

Whichever TEXT100 office you’re in around the world, you’ll find we all share the same values: we take our work seriously, but not ourselves, and we make sure that our people can build their careers and lasting friendships. It’s why they choose to stay – and why you’ll feel like you’ve known us for years.
TEXT100 is made up of innovators, storytellers, creatives, experts, disrupters, and learners – it’s the secret ingredient that helps us do great work and makes all of our offices great places to work. Don’t just take our word for it, especially when we have a bunch of awards:

We take pride in each local office having unique characteristics that represent its people and the communities we work in, like the Rochester office’s conference rooms named after our main highways, NYC’s annual salsa and guacamole competition for Cinco De Mayo, and a ping-pong table that doubles as a conference table. We take pride in treating our employees well. Here are a few things you’ll find in every office:

Recognition for inspiring work

In Boston and Rochester, weekly “Kickass/Superstar” shoutouts are given during staff meetings, and in San Francisco, we nominate a Success of the Week. Some past Kickass/Superstar awards have included…

  • “Superstar to Emily – first solo meeting scheduling with a client!”
  • “Superstar to the Panasonic pitch team!”
  • “Superstar to Jim and Samantha for securing a great group of influencers for the Conduent healthcare roundtable and networking event at HIMSS.”
  • “Superstar to Carly for all of her great work on site at NRF. The accolades from the clients and execs keep rolling in. Great first (!) work trip.”

To add another layer of excitement, the San Francisco office has a “Success Of The Week Shrine.” This way, anyone who walks in our doors can see the incredible work being done here and put a name to a face.

At the NYC office, we celebrate successes with an “Inspired Work of the Month” award (name still in beta). Texties are nominated for all kinds of inspiring work ranging from a media hit, to client counsel, or a creative campaign idea, new business effort, or fantastic team leadership.

Bar Carts and/or a stocked beer fridge

Across all offices, we like to find reasons to celebrate, whether that be an impromptu happy hour, a promotion, or a coworker getting married. Walk into our offices and you’ll be greeted with a smile and a craft beer or wine.

San Francisco takes pride in their old-fashioned wooden bar cart. It’s decorated with colored lights, and on Friday’s at 4 p.m. PT, it’s rolled out with wine, beer, and snacks – allowing everyone to chat and hang out for a bit.

Bagel Fridays

What better way to power through the last day of the week than with bagels and donuts? Across all offices, employees enjoy a generous snack selection and various catered lunches or breakfasts.

Intentional management

TEXT100 managers strive to be fair and transparent, which includes keeping employees informed on the practice for performance reviews and promotion. This helps avoid stress and discomfort in those areas and allows for open lines of communication.

To gauge better understanding of employee’s happiness, weekly surveys are sent to all staff and reviewed each week to monitor both positive and negative employee feedback. In addition, the TEXT100 human resources team regularly monitors Glassdoor reviews to see employee trends.

Know what is expected from you, and hear is what is expected from us.” – David Mould, human resources manager, TEXT100

Opportunities to give back

At TEXT100, we work hard every day to make our words matter for our clients, the people around us, and in the communities where we work and live.

Our offices are always looking for ways to volunteer and give back, whether its through our annual participation in Cycle for Survival, or volunteering at the Boston Boys and Girls Club of America. Each office identifies non-profit organizations to give back to, and makes time to volunteer together.

Generous time-off & compensation

TEXT100 employees enjoy perks such as “duvet days,” 4 weeks’ vacation (5 weeks after one year), 10 paid holidays, Summer Fridays, a generous health care package, and a highly competitive salary. Some employees are even eligible for a two-month sabbatical after six years on the job.
We think TEXT100 is a great place to work, and if we’ve convinced you too, check out our careers page or stop into a local office and say hello.
